Meet our team

Who we are

We are Children of the Water. Zoë and Jojo started this journey on the magical island of ibiza. They bring over 20 years experience in to the water. Our Children of the Water family is growing and we have instructors all over the world. Our team has a holistic approach to the self rescue technique.

Zoë, Ibiza

Zoë is Co Founder and one of the owners of Children Of The Water. When living in Fiji for a while in 2009, the start of her eldest sons becoming Pro surfers, Zoë got inspired by Self Rescue. Her youngest son Nui,  then 1,5 years of age, fell into the pool twice and went straight to the bottom of the pool. Because they were around water all the time, Zoë was determined to get Nui safe in and around water.  After completing his Self Rescue course, he was able to swim at the age of 2,  which led to the birth of Children of the Water. Together with her best friend Jojo and nowadays growing Children of the Water instructor family, they form an amazing leading team in teaching children Holistic Self Rescue.

Zoë is a qualified Self Rescue Instructor and trainer and is training children and new Instructors all over the world. Zoë is licensed in CPR, First Aid and a certified member of STA.
